Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of employee behavior and Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) on employee performance, with job satisfaction serving as a mediating variable, within state-owned banks (Bank BUMN) in Bali Province. A quantitative approach was employed, involving 180 respondents, and the data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The results indicate that employee behavior and OCB have a positive and significant impact on both job satisfaction and employee performance. Job satisfaction also exerts a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Furthermore, job satisfaction was found to positively mediate the effects of employee behavior and OCB on employee performance. These findings demonstrate that enhancing employee performance depends not only on work behavior and voluntary contributions but also on the level of satisfaction experienced regarding the job and the work environment. Consequently, fostering positive work behavior, OCB, and job satisfaction is crucial for improving employee performance at state-owned banks in Bali Province.
